Which insurers do you work with?

All major U.S. pet insurers β€” Nationwide, Fetch, MetLife, Spot, ASPCA, Pets Best, Embrace, Healthy Paws, Lemonade, Figo, and more. If you have a policy, we can almost certainly file with it. Trupanion policyholders at direct-pay hospitals usually don't need us β€” we'll tell you if that's you.

Are you an insurance company?

No. We don't sell insurance and we don't decide claims. We're a filing service: we handle the paperwork between you, your vet, and your existing insurer. Coverage decisions are always made by your insurer under your policy.

My claim has been sitting for weeks β€” what can you actually do?

Usually a stalled claim is waiting on records nobody is chasing: the insurer requested your pet's history, your vet's office hasn't sent it, and neither side has a deadline.
